How many people, I wonder, have passed through the skies above us this morning? Where were they headed, what were their stories? How little thought we give to the tens of thousands of people who hurtle through the atmosphere every day … until something unfortunate happens. Then, for a moment, we think of the travelers, fear air travel, decry the industry.
