Shiloh arrived here on the evening of July 28th, 2017. I picked her up from the mobile spay/neuter clinic after her surgery. Fortunately I used a large transport box for this because it took hours before she was able to stand and walk about on her own. I have a loading dock on my workshop, so I just slid the box from the back of my pick-up onto the dock and into the workshop and let her rest until she was ready.
Shiloh’s Backstory
Shiloh is a female Redbone Hound who weighs approximately 40 pounds.
She was found with puppies at a dilapidated house – roof caved in, broken windows, etc. She and one of her pups were taken into rescue by Steele Away Home Canine Foster and Rescue and placed in a foster home. Once the pup was weaned, Shiloh was spayed and sent here because she likes to jump on people and pulls on the leash. I’m told she loads easy but dislikes being crated and whines the whole trip. She needs to learn some manners.

Shiloh LOVES her Coolaroo dog bed:
Aug 7, 2017
Shiloh has now been introduced to all of the dogs and gets along famously with all of them. Even Sylvia. She likes to play rowdy with Julian, but only for a while then she seeks sanctuary from him.
She knows, “come”, “sit”, “down” and “in your room”.
As she has settled in, she has developed more personality — some of which gets rowdy. I am working with her on leash walking and constraining her enthusiasm when we first greet her.

We have begun house-training Shiloh.
